I was for two days a genuine "redneck". We harvested some 3500 kg of corn...After some estimation, the harvest on 10.000 square meters was about 7000 kg this year, at least in that specific county of Eastern Romania, Buzau. The corn field was not irigated, since Romania have uterly neglected its agriculture in the last 20 years. That beeater still hunted insects, which is the sign of a warm autumn.The price of corn is about 8kg/euro.
