BEWARE ! THE BEARS HAVE AGAIN ATACKED IN ROMANIA!

Two French tourist survived a bear attack in the Bucegi Mountains in Transylvania last night (Thurs/Fri).

The two, a man, 34, and his wife, 33, were attacked by a brown bear while they were sleeping in their tent in the Valea Cerbului area.

A tourist found them after the attack and called for help. The man had injuries to his head and chest, the woman to her back and a thigh.

The two are receiving treatment at a hospital in Ploiesti.

Doctor Daniel Nicolae from the ambulance service said their condition was stable but they needed medical care.

Authorities have repeatedly warned tourists not to keep food in their tents while camping in mountainous areas populated by bears.

That is very tragic, it's too bad people don't listen and take precautions when camping in the wild. This could have easily been avoided.
