Hello Richard
It's interesting to see birds I am famliar with, day by day in Dorset (England). The black headed gulls, swans, mallards, for instance. In the summer, we have swallows too - though near where I live I am more likely to notice swifts on a daily basis.
Then to see ones I never see - like the pelicans!
There are a few birds I don't know and I would have liked to ask about some of the pictures too but it's difficult to say which ones with such a long post!
